We’ve had another typically busy few days in the B household and there is no such thing as a quiet weekend!
Friday night we went to see Madagascar Live at the SECC which was Miss Bs Christmas present from us. Us girls loved it but Mr B wasn’t too impressed. Saturday saw us getting our hair done in the morning and then off to help my littlest sister move house in the afternoon then home just in time for bed!
Today was Mothers Day and as usual we were out and about. First we went to the cinema to see The Princess Bride which is one of Mr Bs all time favourite films. He’s never seen it in the cinema though and I have to admit to never having watched it. All 3 of us loved it though and Mr B was happy that Miss B loved it too 🙂 Next, we grabbed a quick bite to eat and then headed back home to gymnastics as Miss B had a competition, then we went on a quick visit to the mothertypes to hand in cards and flowers. By the time we got home, it was time for dinner then getting organised for the week and I stood ironing from 6 until 9 and although I would rather be doing something else with my time at least it took a big chunk out of the pile.
This week I don’t need to be away anywhere which is nice as I am loaded with the cold and my glands are still swollen and sore but hopefully I will start to feel a bit more human in a few days.
I have attached a photograph of Miss B and I taken a few weekends ago very early in the morning so please excuse the crazy face and hair 🙂
