Time

So there has been radio silence since the end of August and I am sorry about that.  I have been so busy at work and lots going on with my family and at home that I have had no time to do anything let alone blog.

So in brief over the last month we have had sickness bugs, nursery issues, weddings and general chaos 🙂

I am totally determined to keep this going and have some good ideas for posts and also using this as an online record of what’s going on in my life on a daily basis.

At the moment Mr B and I are sitting watching movies and drinking wine which is awesome!!!

Hope you are all doing well and having a great weekend

Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun Zingzillas

Beth is a little disco diva, she absolutely loves dancing and singing and all kinds of music, so when I got the chance to review the new BBC Zingzillas album I jumped at it.

The BBC introduced a new show to their CBeebies channel in April this year and its aimed at children under 6.  It’s set on a tropical island where everyone works together to make music.  Each episode looks at a different aspect of music and covers all different cultures and genres.

There are 4 main characters Zak, Tang, Panzee and Drum who all have a role in the band and their mentor DJ Loose along with other supporting cast members.  Each episode has a special guest musical star

Beth listen to the album in the car on the way home from nursery and then followed us into the kitchen when I was making dinner and I don’t mind admitting that I was bopping around with Beth.  I have to admit that it was so upbeat and catchy that even after 1 listen we were all singing along.

There are 23 tracks on the album and each one was a hit.  The album is available in the shops now at a very reasonable price and would make a really great gift for Christmas.

It certainly gets the Beth seal of approval 🙂
